Solaris InterUrbino

Characteristic

As an intercity bus, the Solaris InterUrbino shows its strengths in a variety of different operational environments. With its flexible design, the InterUrbino is a true all-rounder: there are no limits to the talents of the new Solaris star.

Four comprehensive specification packages allow the bus to be tailored exactly to its customers’ requirements, opening up exciting new possibilities. The Solaris InterUrbino sets new standards in economy and comfort, whether as a high-capacity school bus or a premium-quality route bus – with possibilities for dual-purpose use in public service and private hire work.

Comfort and longevity are the focus at the heart of the robust chassis and body of the Solaris InterUrbino. Its frame is constructed entirely out of stainless steel, while the roof and side panels are made from stainless steel and aluminium. Even in challenging climates, the choice of materials ensures that the bus is anti-corrosive for an exceptionally long service life.

The Solaris InterUrbino has the environment in mind. It is powered by clean, green diesel engines built to the very latest European emissions standards. Low emissions are guaranteed – as is fresh air wherever this bus goes.

In preparation for its customers’ challenges, the InterUrbino passed a series of demanding endurance tests. All road safety systems as well as dynamic reactions in extreme situations on the road were meticulously examined. As a result, the InterUrbino’s drivers and passengers travel safely and confidently.

Wide doors – available for the centre of the bus as single or double leaf – together with shallow steps create entrance areas that are easy and comfortable to use. And passengers impaired in their mobility will also join the journey without difficulty: a wheelchair lift is optionally available for the centre doors.

Inside the Solaris InterUrbino, everything is focussed on the comfort of passengers as well as drivers. Comfortable seats for up to 55 passengers make for an enjoable journey on board the 12-metre bus. All hand luggage is safely placed in overhead luggage racks, combining functionality and aesthetics for a pleasant interior. Large panoramic windows open up views of the passing countryside, while full air-conditioning is available to ensure pleasant ambient temperatures at all times.

Even the InterUrbino’s smallest passengers are not forgotten: Solaris will optionally supply the InterUrbino with dedicated seating for infants which provides the safest possible trip for the youngest generation. Under the floor, large-volume boot space is provided to make sure no luggage is left behind.

For use on regional bus routes, the Solaris InterUrbino may be fitted with a multi-purpose area opposite the centre doors, either as a fixed layout or with removable seats. In private hire work, a fully seated vehicle provides an efficient and economic solution for large groups.

The InterUrbino’s driver will find a relaxing working environment thanks to the fully modern specifications. In the ergonomic cockpit, all operating controls are always within easy reach for safe driving.

Maintenance of the Solaris InterUrbino has not been forgotten either: all vehicle and drive-train components are easily accessible throughout, making the InterUrbino a versatile and attractive choice in every respect.

Komfort
